The Gray Sea
The Gray Sea - newly built for the summer of 2020 - offers the unique combined experience of being waterfront with treed privacy, gorgeous sunsets, a private dock with kayaks & paddle boat and is within a 3 minute walk (or quick paddle) to the beautiful Penderosa & Thunder Cove Beaches.

The cottage begins with a large bright entry that immediately opens to expansive water views across the entire front of the cottage. It’s a beautiful surprise! The entry leads into the large custom kitchen with a gas range, quartz countertops, a farmhouse sink, a large island that seats 3, a pantry, loads of storage and gorgeous water views! The dining area is furnished with a custom-made PEI harvest table, seating for 8 and a working-holiday desk space for those that need it.

Beyond the kitchen, you’ll find the large sunroom - comfortably furnished to relax and enjoy being surrounded by the sights and sounds of PEI nature. The sunroom is floor to ceiling glass with 2 sets of 12-foot patio doors. Both sets of doors slide back to turn your sunroom into a waterfront screened room. The water is active with ducks, geese & herons; you might see a rabbit or squirrel pass by and we can guarantee that you’ll experience harmonious birdsong at least once a day! If you’re looking to reconnect and rejuvenate on your holiday, this space offers that and more.

Through the barn doors of the sunroom, you enter the main living room with a wall of windows overlooking the water and private dock. The area is furnished with swivel armchairs, a huge sectional, propane fireplace, a 55” TV and windows in all directions. There is also a cozy corner behind the living room that offers a plush space to relax with a book, a game or even an afternoon nap! The waterfront deck runs the entire length of the cottage from the sunroom, across the living room, to the master bedroom and down to the 7-person hot tub.

The Gray Sea is complete with 3 bedrooms, a kids loft bedroom, 2 full bathrooms and a laundry area. The master bedroom has a king bed, patio doors that lead to a covered waterfront deck (with outdoor rocking chairs), a full en-suite, a large closet and a TV. The two additional main floor bedrooms each have a queen bed, large windows, a large closet and TV. Just outside these bedrooms is the second full bathroom with double vanities and a full-size tub/shower.

The stairs to the kids loft lead to right and left side sleeping areas that are private from each other, have a comfortable twin bed, side table & light, clothes baskets, hoodie hooks and a TV for each. There is also a window between the two areas for fresh air and breezes.

The Gray Sea offers a lot in the way of outdoor fun! The private dock has 2 kayaks and a paddle boat that can be used to coast directly to the beach, accomplish a good work-out or a peaceful paddle. There is a large yard for outdoor play, spacious decks on the south, west and east sides of the cottage, Adirondack chairs, an outdoor shower, a picnic table and a bonfire pit. And, of course, a gorgeous beach and ocean fun is just a 3 minute walk away. Beach wagon provided! The beach access is available only to you and your neighbors in this exclusive community.

The cottage is complete with main area air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer, wifi, satellite, 6 smart TV’s, bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, an outdoor shower, a propane BBQ, outdoor dining and a bonfire pit.
