From the moment you drive onto the property, Brackley Birches welcomes you to vacation serenity. The spacious, waterfront, treed property is well manicured and very private. We provide a two-person kayak that you can launch directly from the front yard and paddle for miles. Located minutes from Brackley Beach, the cottage is also conveniently close to Charlottetown (15 mins to the airport), shopping, restaurants, local entertainment and the Island's only Drive-In Theatre.
The open-concept main living area is the perfect vacationing layout for families and couples alike. The entire front of the cottage boasts water views from every room and has direct access to the large wrap-around deck.
The living area provides a 3-sided propane fire place for great warmth and ambiance, a flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings. The dining area seats six at a beautiful table, while the custom-crafted kitchen is bright, functional and well...so very inviting! All the amenities of home can be found here - stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher & microwave), large island with bar style seating and lots of counter space. Definitely a multiple cook kitchen!
Brackley Birches has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are located on the second level of the cottage. The master bedroom provides a queen bed and the extra-large second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The second bedroom also acts as a great entertainment space for kids with a flat screen TV (Netflix). An abundance of natural light fills the bathroom situated between both bedrooms (sink, toilet & full tub/shower). The bright and spacious bathroom on the main floor has a sink, toilet, shower and the washer & dryer.
In respect to outdoor living, the large deck offers its guests a cozy setting for bird watching, sunset gazing and entertaining. The space includes deck chairs, a picnic table, BBQ, bonfire pit and a kayak.
The cottage is complete with satellite TV (main level), Netflix (second floor), wifi, telephone, washer & dryer, linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ (with propane) and deck furnishings.
