| The Milner Beach House |
This gorgeous air conditioned Beach House is located on the north shore of PEI in Cable Head East. A winding sandy trail leads directly from your backyard to a beautiful white sand beach – a short walk away (literally 15 seconds). No cliffs, just easy sandy access! The cottage perch is quite privately set back from the road, is treed on both sides and has a generous yard for running and playing on your way to the shore. A true Beach House oasis!
The cottage interior is spacious, open and beautifully decorated. It sleeps 10 in beds with four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Upon entering the foyer you are greeted with an entire wall of windows that take in a vast and uncompromised ocean view. The beach will feel so close that you‘ll hardly notice the laundry room to the right and stair access to the lower level on the left.
Along the entire north side of the cottage the kitchen, dining, living room, screen porch and master bedroom have the best views imaginable. The bright kitchen provides all the necessities of home with an uber cool fridge (aka beer cooler), a large island with seating for five and loads of cupboard/counter space. Directly off the kitchen is the dining area with a custom harvest table for 10 and calming ocean views.
To the left of the kitchen and dining area is the spacious and comfortable living room. It is complete with ample seating, a propane fireplace, TV, a large wall of windows overlooking the ocean beach and large French doors that blur the lines between the interior space and the gorgeous screen porch. This porch is perfect to curl up & relax - especially when it’s so comfortably furnished and offers unobstructed ocean views for miles.
The main floor is complete with a king master bedroom (TV), sizable ensuite with double vanities, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath off the living room.
The lower level has a large family room with TV, loads of comfortable seating and a big coffee table - perfect for games night. There are two more bedrooms on this level...one king and the second is a kids bedroom with 4 single beds (1 set is bunk beds) and its own TV. This level is complete with a full bathroom (sink, toilet & tub/shower).
The cottage is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer, wifi, satellite TV, bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, a propane BBQ and a bonfire pit.
Please note: The cottage provides wifi internet, however speed varies (on the lower scale). You can stream your favorite Netflix show or movie, just not more than one at a time. The cottage is located on an ocean beach on the north east coast of PEI and internet speeds were not considered the priority while creating this serene beach retreat.
Cellular service is strongest in the driveway. Reception inside the cottage does not yield many bars!
