Sunset Quay is the newest luxury summer home to be added to our complement of vacation rentals. Located in Morell, near the historic Red Head Harbour, across the water from the renowned Greenwich Dunes National Park and minutes to world-famous Crowbush Cove Golf Course, this home is a perfect setting for your next PEI vacation.
The professionally decorated property is waterfront and private. An open-concept living-dining-kitchen area welcomes vacationing families to relax, play, create culinary wonders and enjoy the pace of island life. Whether you’re reading by the fireplace under vaulted ceilings, creating in the sun-filled kitchen or sitting down for a game of cards at the accommodating harvest table - everyone is connected, yet comfortable in their own spacious area.
The large waterfront deck and screened porch are also accessible from the living/dining area and offer a large BBQ, deck chairs and lounging furniture. Imagine enjoying the beautiful island sunsets from the comfort of your own waterside screen porch - a true PEI pleasure. Another fantastic gathering area can be found in the home’s lower level with the adjoining billards/bar room and family room (complete with pool table, bar/stools, flat screen tv, satellite and dvd).
When it’s time to retire for the evening the main level offers three bedrooms. The master bedroom is in the west wing, complete with full bathroom – Jacuzzi tub, shower and double sinks, while the two additional bedrooms are in the east wing. A full bathroom – tub/shower and double sinks, is located between these bedrooms. Many guests quite enjoy having the bedrooms located in different wings of the home in order to enjoy the utmost in privacy. Two more bedrooms can be found on the lower level with another bathroom located between them – large shower and double sinks. The bed configuration is: Master bedroom (king bed), other four bedrooms (queen beds).
Walk from the back deck down to the water’s edge for great beachcombing and strolling along the shore. If it’s a famous island beach you’re looking for, head no further than Lakeside Beach (just a 10 minute drive), which is located adjacent to Crowbush Cove Golf Course.
The town of Morell has a great grocery store, liquor store, gas, bank, kayak rentals (King Fisher), visitor information centre, art gallery and auto shop. A visit to the nearby Red Head Harbour will provide an up-close look at the Island's fishing and aquaculture industries - where it’s possible to buy fresh fish at their seafood outlet.
With Charlottetown just a 30 minute drive west, this location is perfect for being close to the necessities, yet far enough away for complete serenity AND just 30 minutes to the ‘big’ city!
