Whispering Winds is a beautifully decorated waterfront chalet on the shores of Malpeque Bay in Prince Edward Island. The ocean and famous Cabot Beach Provincial Park are just a few minutes’ drive away and you can actually walk to a popular kite boarding site just down the road. The welcoming interior provides ample space for a family vacation with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main level is open-concept with a porch/laundry, completely equipped kitchen, waterfront living and dining areas, the master bedroom (king bed) and a bathroom (sink, toilet and walk-in shower). The second floor houses two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with 2 single beds) and the second bathroom (sink, toilet and walk-in shower). The bedroom with 2 single beds also acts as a ‘kid cave’ with a flat screen TV and satellite. A perfect area for them to get away, relax and maybe fall asleep watching a movie! The chalet also boasts a large waterfront wrap-around deck that serves as great additional ‘outdoor’ living space and which leads directly to an expansive backyard and the water beyond.
The location of Whispering Winds is ideal for family vacations. Cabot Beach - the largest park in western PEI, is a very short drive away and offers a full day of fun for all. This beautiful beach/park has a large day-use area with playground equipment, an activity centre with children's programs and a naturalist on staff who provides guided nature walks. There is also supervised swimming on the scenic Malpeque Bay. Other nearby attractions include world class golf, Anne attractions, antiquing, amusement parks and restaurants.
Additional amenities include: fireplace, propane BBQ, deck furniture, washer/dryer, internet access, satellite TV and DVD player. Bedroom configuration is as follows: Main floor master (king bed), second floor 2nd bedroom (queen bed), second floor 3rd bedroom (2 single beds) and the living room has a sofa bed to sleep 1 more. Towels, beach towels and bed linens provided.
